Highlights of the Menu

At Pollo Lima, the star of the show is undoubtedly their succulent **rotisserie chicken**. Cooked to perfection, it's available in various family-sized options that make sharing a breeze. Guests can choose from a half chicken paired with two sides or go big with the family special, featuring two whole chickens with three generous sides. The whole chicken with medium sides is particularly popular, priced at just $39.95, making it an excellent value for delicious, home-cooked flavor.

However, the experience doesn't stop at the rotisserie. Pollo Lima also serves a variety of appetizers that are worth indulging in:

  • Anticuchos – Deliciously marinated skewers of heart meat that are grilled to smoky perfection and served with potatoes and rocoto sauce.
  • Causa Limena – An explosion of flavors featuring layers of yellow potato puree, juicy chicken, and the unbeatable Huancaina sauce.
  • Empanadas – From traditional **aji de gallina** to **beef empanadas**, the flaky dough filled with flavorful stew showcases the wonderful diversity of Peruvian street food.

Signature Dishes

For those seeking something more traditional, don't miss out on Pollo Lima’s signature dishes such as:

  • Aji De Gallina – Peru's national dish that will tantalize your taste buds with its creamy yellow pepper sauce.

After living in Lima for half a year over 2 years ago, I discovered this place on yelp and had to come reminisce. The tallarin a la huancaina was exactly the way I remember it being in Peru and I could not have been happier. The other food was all amazing, but this dish will forever be my favorite. I wanted causa but they always run out at lunch time, she said so get there early if you want a special treat! Inside is clean and they have a bakery selection similar to what you see in the street cafes in Lima. The staff was also very nice and I noticed them being extra helpful to people who needed help with the menu - so if you're new to the cuisine, this friendly place should be your first stop! 5/5 stars and can't wait to come back.

The Loma Saltado was so delicious and flavorful. I am already looking forward to going back and trying other things. The fries that come on the side are way undercooked for my liking, but the beef and vegetables and sauce were the star, so those fries didn't matter.

Soooo good that we got take out from there two days in a row! On a short visit to CO, found this spot on Yelp and ordered takeout for four. We all loved it and decided we needed to eat it again before leaving town and ordered takeout again! Delicious!

The food was amazing We ordered the lomo saltado and the ceviche mixto Yet these two plates came out to more than $40. So it is a little expensive. There was no waiter just at the register. They did come around once to ask if everything was ok. The ambiance was chill, clean , and self serve culligan water.

How can I give this restaurant 19 stars? Oh my goodness. The mix ceviche: HUGE portions of fish, shrimp, squid, and octopus. And I mean, HUGE. The spices with the lime juice... I eat ceviche all of the time and this was the best I have ever had. You can choose no spice, mild, or spicy, the mild is actually (reasonably) spicy, so choose carefully. They also have a drink made of boiled purple corn that they've added sugar and cinnamon to. DELICIOUS!! If you haven't been here, GO HERE. You will be more than pleasantly surprised.

Super good Peruvian food! The lady who owns the restaurant is super kind and friendly, and it was all fairly priced. The restaurant itself is welcoming and family-oriented. I'm sure there's something for everybody here!
